Attempting to use Scroll Template -...

Hello, I've been using a WP site but since my site doesn't change much I'm attempting to convert to a more static page.

So far I've tried to "customize" the Scroll Template, new to RSD so it's defiantly trial and error mode.

I uploaded a test site at 2016.garylipelt.com/RSD2a and notice a couple of problems that I can't seem to figure out, any help would be appreciated.

First issue: If you scroll down to the first section, Instruction Programs, there is a light dotted line under the text. I thought it was a border but I can't seem to find where to get rid of that line.

Second issue: Not sure of the proper wording but I have a background set between the first and second sections, how do I get the "gray" text row to butt up against the bottom of the background image? There is white space I'd like to remove.

Thanks again for any help!

Good call! Using static sites is actually becoming some sort of a trend these days, performance is driver for that :)

You were right though, that is a border. Select the text element (h2) and click on the bottom line of the border control. This activates the controls for that border, allowing you to remove it.

There's a few things that you can do. First, remove the bottom margin from the row above the sectio with the 'Junior Instructions'. That will remove almost all of the white space. Then, it seems that you did something on the column containing that paragraph of text. If you select the column and make it it float left (again), the space will be gone. You can also remove the top margin (7px) from the paragraph, but I recommend setting the column back to floating left anyway :P

Hope this helps!

That's great, border is gone and white space removed.

I guess was looking at the wrong area, I had an idea it was margin/padding but couldn't find the correct element to fix it.

Thanks for the help, now I can try to add a few more things and hopefully get a better grasp of RSD.

Thanks again!

Couple of more questions. (Should I start a new thread?)

How can I eliminate some of the blue space on the top column? Move logo text up closer to the top of the page.

Added a few more columns, is it possible to add additional "Scroll Down" Links as done on the first column but pointed to different ID's? Can I add link buttons at the top of the page pointed to page section ID's?

Basically I have a small number of pages on my current site but I'm trying to get all the info onto one page.

Thanks

I looked at the link but not exactly sure what you are referring too...sorry. Maybe attach the project?

Yes, that is totally possible, just follow the examples in the themes and you should be good. :P
