I'm looking for a relatively cheap program that will help me design a logo and/or artwork for my website. Any suggestions?

Coffeecup Software does not have any such programmes. I guess the best app would be Adobe illustrator, but that is no way cheap. A Google search for alternatives came up with this page:

If you want an alternative to Adobe Illustrator, take a look at Affinity Designer.
