Hi i have tried looking for a font that is installed on my machine locally and it is a true type font can this be installed into RSD ? so that i can use it . i have tried installing the font into the shared folder that only shows Google or websafe this did not work . any guidence would be appreciated . nb RSD 2 Beta build 1980

Thank you Bill that is about a complete answer i could have wished for now that i totally understand about Fonts
then its up to me to direct my client to a font that will 1 work in all browsers 2 not have licence issues . I have no problem with that as the built in fonts are more than enough

You are not just limited to the built in fonts. The "built in" fonts are typical widely used browser fonts and the free to use Google fonts. You can link to Adobe's Edge fonts also which are free to use also. They both have an interface to to search for a type of font you are looking for, both share will share most of the fonts. Google has a way though to get a desktop version of the font, you can have have matching print typography.

Any chance of a small demo project so i can export and see how this is done pls - followed all the recommendations about adding custom fonts but still cannot get any to work!!
