being one of the most "strident", not snarky, commenters on the latest versions of the platforms being missing, I'm looking forward to trying this new version.
What surprises me though, with all the negative criticism from others, is why no one has commented on possible problems being due to the different versions - Bootstrap 3 vs BS 4 -- could this be part of the issue?
Don't know yet, just installing it now.

Hi All
You can install Components from rsd 2.5 in the site designer from import option found Import library component option
under the file button on the left . this way you have them ready for any project . make sure you import the right components for each platform

there's a stack of front-end platforms out there -- as always, Google to find the details
but it's one in the earlier stages of development, compared to Bootstrap and Foundation, and it's supposedly got a lot of pre-built components for Material design -- as in Android apps, so all you app developers out there....
I have 2 columns in RSD 2.5 design. 1 on the left with simpel meny, just a boxes with URL. Column 2 is the main on the right.
SD3 shows 1 column, with the menu on top.
There is no problems wit the original RSD 2.5 Menu.
SD3 do not have any Layout menu....

SD3 was presented as an upgrade to RSD 2.5.
I thought it was just opening the project from RSD 2.5, do some work, not totally redesign the entire project ...

wilford,
when I say "prob" I mean "prob to be read/translated by v3"
and maybe your 2.5 file is too complicated, using one flex column and add some (flex) div is often enough to obtain the same effect...

Yes I am having problem with components : I would like to bring the components into Site Designer. Your help will be appreciated: My email is kishorefiji@zoho.com
Hey everybody,
I guess you all got excited and started working with V3 BEFORE our email with instructions reached you (it will be out this morning).
A couple of pointers:
- It is important to understand the very different concepts behind the old framework layouts and CSS Grid when you start converting. Please click the link, read (and clap) before doing any conversion.
- Suzanne wrote up instructions how to specifically do this within the app, if you understand the concept, this will be easy.
- Start with a theme to get a hang of the updated UI, workflow and especially, CSS Grid. The theme linked in the email is great for learning purposes.
- I would advise against mass importing components that might or might not be using rows and columns — instead my suggestion is to important them as needed, update them if needed and resave them over the old component. This way you are not mixing in 'old' layout components.
- When updating, do it on a section by section basis (a section usually consists of one or two rows).
- Start with easier sections to get a feel for this, do sections that contain menus and subgrids later.
As many of you already mentioned, CSS Grid is the future. Sometimes participating in that means investing a little time. Since all of you are already fluent with RSD, this learning should go fast though

The future of web layout has arrived and it's called CSS Grid. CoffeeCup helps you to get ready with a free guide, the Grid Builder app plus cool demos & themes.
