I had my shop working and then I overwrote the index.php with wordpress. Now I would like to publish my shop, putting the files in a folder called shop. On my computer I cannot get it to publish, I get an error and am told to try again. So I tried a different computer and the publish ran, but I still have no shop. I cannot find an index.php file. Where would it be on my site so I can link to it.

It sounds like the error you are getting is a result of uploading to the wrong folder. Before, your link probably looked like this:

www.mysite.com/index.php

If you add a shop folder it will look like this:

www.mysite.com/shop/index.php

Make sure you change the server settings when you upload to the new folder otherwise it wont upload.

I did think of that and I changed the link in my server settings. It still will not publish. Every time I try get gets to a different point, but it will not go.

You might want to put a support ticket in.

If your have Direct FTP fire that up and you will be able to see what folders and files are on your server and hopefully spot where your files have gone.

Try putting this in your server information box Michael:

/public_html/shop/
