When someone "buys" something and it appears in his/her cart, is SCC supposed to automatically update quantities? What about when something is purchased through PayPal?

All but a few of our items are single items only, and it seems I have to manually update the shop locally each time something is purchased, then upload all of the files all over again... gets to be kind of a challenge when several people are making purchases at the same time.

Would someone who is using the cart process effectively please let me know how its supposed to work from an auto-update inventory perspective? Thanks!

Hi. There is currently no inventory management in shopping cart creator, although this will eventually be a feature of the forthcoming pro version.

Inventory management normally allows you to enter your current stock levels, and the program decreases this amount when an item is sold. When the stock is level is less than one (zero) it removes the item from sale, usually by removing the add to cart button..

Pro Version is supposed to be released by year end, so hang in there ClassicRock, I am betting the Pro Version will be awesome with all the feature possibilities that have crossed these forums. Inventory management definitely being one of them
