I am trying to set up a new shopping cart as my last one (a freebie) has gone defunct. We use PayPal and I want to know if the CoffeeCup Shopping Cart conforms to Website Payments Standards, as used in PayPal. I notice that PayPal does not list CoffeeCup's Shopping Cart as a compatible/authorized application, even though the software claims to be.

Thanks, in advance, for your help.

I believe that the API that is set up is for PayPal Express Checkout only.

That's a surprise.

Website Payments Pro seems to me to be what I need

Pay Pal asks for a Shopping Cart for Website Payments Pro and Coffee Cup is not listed as approved.

So is Shopping Cart only applicable to Express Checkout as seems to be from here?

i.e. no need to sign up for Website Payments Pro ?

We now support PayPal Express and Website Payments Standard. PayPal Pro is not supported at this time. Someday maybe, but we are trying to integrate a few more merchants for when the Pro version comes out later this year.
