Theme carry over? - Post ID 84964

Will themes carry over to the next version? I'm reluctant to spend a lot of work on a theme if I'll have to start over when the next version is released.

I can get around taxes for now by building a little in and just paying my state taxes.

If I edit the theme I can create links to my policies pages etc...

Or... should I wait for the next version before doing that type of work?

Anything you do outside of Shopping Creator would be lost when you open it in any version.

Our Styler program is just about ready and with that you will be able to fully customize the theme to fit your needs.

I know you won't give a date for the Styler or the new Shopping Cart creator...

could you give us a sooner or later type of answer?

Is the release for each planned...

sooner than later?

Soon?

Later?

Hi,
I am also waiting for the styler, hopefully within a couple of weeks?

"About ready" is relative.
Boiling an egg, about ready could be one minute.
Building a house, about ready might be six months.

Cheers,
Baz.

But we're not boiling an egg or building a house... we're coding software.
