Thanks to all the great people on this forum. . . I think I've just about got it.

The only problem I'm facing now is that the taxes are not calculating. I realize that you actually have to upload the shopping cart, which I've done, and actually do the "add to cart" and go to checkout. BUT -- even when I do that the taxes are not showing.

Also, I'd like to add a link to a "word" in the verbage on the shop home page. How can I do that without showing the link itself -- is there a way.????

I know its probably stating the obvious, but if your taxes aren't showing, then you haven't got them set up correctly.

You need to give as much detail as you can when posting on the forums Sandy, so people can give you a more helpful response.

For each product, did you assign it to the proper tax category under the Basic Info tab?

I happened to be cruising the forum and found someone else with the same problem. I followed the PDF of how to set up the taxes, but it, as stated in the other post, it doesn't mention having to setup the "options" part in the Basic info... once I did that and assigned it to the correct category, it worked. I think it's all a go now....

Thank you so much for posting this answer. I was going crazy trying to get my taxes to calculate and completely missed the option in Basic Info.

FYI Support Team: this seems to be a problem, maybe irregular, but please know this answer. I've talked to two of your support staff and neither gave me this answer. After weeks of being really pissed off, I can finally go live with my site.
