Scott.Would it be possible to have an option to turn off or disable the add to cart button for an individual item ?.

That way a BuyNow button could be put in the html area. This would allow a downloadable item feature without the distraction of a Add to Cart button for that item. In my case also I could use my simple one off inventry system that I would share with all, that will work for those items for which only one exists.

The creation and handling of this would have to be controlled by the shop owner who would have to be responsible for it. Also it would be their task to create their own buttons.

This change would allow me (Ahhh! selfish me) to buy and use it immediatly.

You can see what I am trying to achieve if you go to http://mrtworld.com.

It could be so much more profesional with the excellent themes available to use with Shopping Cart.

The way the software was developled something like that would be extremely difficult as the software was not designed for that purpose. Now the good thing is we have had many requests from other users wanting a similar feature. I am sure something like this will be found in a future version of the software or in the 'pro' version.

I do know you can probably modify some of the CSS and XML files to accomplish this, but someone far smarter then me will have to advise you on how to do that ;)

Thanks for your reply. I look forward to the pro version.

Also will the theme designer be a part of the software or an additional cost. on top.

I guess I have given the impression that I am dissapointed with the program but the complete opposite is true. It is so easy to set up a shop, not only that it looks as good as any out there.

I became a fan of CC immediatly I purchased Form Builder. I have Direct ftp and Shop Builder now on my radar.

I believe Scott you and your company are delivering top software. I would buy the whole box and dies if I could afford it.
