This is great news, especially the larger image size. :D

Will this be the final version of SCD Pro in preparation for SCC Pro?

Is there much point downloading the new version of the SCC software if we are going to upgrade to SCC Pro? Thanks.

That is correct. We needed to release this update so that people can start updating their shops and working on the themes for SCC Pro. Since the update is free, it is always worth downloading the newer versions right? ;)

Right! You're always right Scott. :D

Consider me sold on downloading and updating. My body has returned from my vacation, but I think I left my brains in the US and it doesn't feel like work. :P

Before the upgrade I had my taxes set at 8.7%. After the upgrade it still shows 8.7% but only charges .00541%.

And now the tax rate selector in View Cart tells the customer to "Choose one" where with ver 3.7 I could put 11% taxes as a default if they don't choose one then just credit them. So now if someone don't pick a tax rate I add a step and email or call them and they get up in the air and have a hissie-fit about it.

Other then that I find no problems.

If anyone wants to see it do it's thing arkansas-solar.com and click the solar store button.

I guess I can do the math if there is not going to be a fix for it. OR do I need to change a new setting that I don't know is there?

We have not really made any changes to that part of the software, so we would need to see your shop files to see how you have everything setup. Open a support ticket and zip everything up and we will look into this for ya.

Oh dear... I've just upgraded and I now have a non-functioning shop!

The servertest.php file reports no problems, running on a Windows server.

I don't seem to be seeing my taxes in the basket - they seem to be being ignored, and the worst thing is trying to check out with PayPal - I'm just getting the message "No config parameter 'PayPal' + VERSION defined."

Is that me or SCC?

I deleted everything from the "shop" folder and tried uploading via SCC again just to see if it had left an old file from the last version lying around but that made no difference.

Can you open a support ticket and send us all your shop files so we can take a look at what is going on?

If anyone else has encountered any problems, or has any concerns about the new 3.8 versions of Cart Creator or the Designer programs, please be sure to give the Coffeecup team feedback on things.

By getting user feedback, the team can not only resolve issues, but also take on board user comments to possibly modify programs in the future. :)

I, too, am experiencing sales tax calculation errors and have opened a support ticket. I've not encountered any other errors yet.

I have downloaded and installed both of the new updates, and opened my shop up in it. I like what I have seen.

I have not published yet to encounter problems, but have a few quick questions (actually a dup question).

I looked at the swag shop for inspiration in designing my template, and noticed there is no weight. I know I asked in another thread and got an answer from Scott that it's a default and will stay there, but why isn't it in the swag shop? Is there some other coding done on the swag website? Just curious. I can live with it, but if I can code it out I would rather. :)

Also, how do you get the cool thumbnails under the details?

That is because that is an SCC Pro feature. ;) The SWAG Shop was built with Shopping Cart Creator Pro and Shopping Cart Designer Pro.

In Designer Pro, there is a new theme called "Blank - Navigation on the Top Float". This is the theme we customized for use on the SWAG Shop.

Thanks Scott.

So I will be able to take the weight out when SCC Pro is released? fingers crossed. :D
