Having looked more closely at the error, it appears sales tax is only being calculated on shipping charges and not the product itself.

That is exactly what we found out today as well. It looks like Google made some changes to the API. We are looking into fixing this now.

I just posted an update to Shopping Cart Creator 3.8 that corrects a few issues:

-PayPal' + VERSION defined error when checking out with PayPal.
-Taxes calculations.

We are still looking into why Google Checkout is not applying taxes to shipping. We should have that corrected tomorrow.
