Is it possible to rename the index.php??? I am working on a Grocery Store Web Site and it already has an index.html. I have a Grocery Shopping Section where the Shopping Cart is located. The two seperate index files are messing things up. In order for my website to work properly I must have the index.php,cart.php,category.php,viewcategory.php in the root of my site which isn't a problem, the problem Is the main part of my site already has an index.html which is where I want visitors to start. So Long story short I need a way to either rename the index.php file or figure out how to send them to the index.html first and access the index.php through my menu links.
If I was confusing ask and I will try and clear it up.
Thank you.

Rename Index.php??? - Post ID 89888
Chad,
Can you put the CC Shopping Cart in a Shop folder?

You can override the .php telling Apache to use the .htm instead using an htaccess file in the root directory.
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
Thanks guys, actually I just renamed it to index2.php and everything still works fine. Apparently when you ad items to the shop and upload it does not upload the index file everytime. So it works for now. Thanks for the advice everyone.
