Hi Guys,

My name is Ray, I'm new to the forum. I've been using Coffee Cup Shopping Cart Pro and the Designer for a while now.

The Coffee Cup software has been really good for me as I know "next to nothing" about anything website related.

With absolutely no knowledge and using the software I've been able to create something that at least resembles a website and have grown the online portion of the business into something fairly successful with it. Thank you Coffee Cup!

I just recently found Eric's website examples. Eric has some really cool things I would love to implement into my site, like the linked header and the rotating images on his VSD homepage.

I did follow his instructions but was unable to get either of the scripts to work.

Anyone have any suggestions on adding rotating images on the homepage (Is this even possible in Shopping Cart or only in VSD) or how to link the header image from other pages to the homepage as Eric did in his examples?

When I tried the linked header code my page went blank, and even though I messed with it a fair bit I could not get it to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd also be interested in hearing anyone's feedback or suggestions on improving my site and making it look more professional.

I was just about to say welcome to the forums when I noticed that your post had been moved.

I'm sure Eric, whose instructions you are trying to follow, will turn up here and guide you through them.

I would advise you to put your questions into the groups for each programme that you have issues with. That way you have a greater chance of getting a qualified reply.

Otherwise, do feel at home here, and we are a nice crowd, really , and we're always trying to be helpful.

Hi Ray. Something like this. I through this together just to show you.
Shop image rotator

Use the instructions on my VSD site and make a page that only has the slide show on it. Make your page the same size as your slide show. Now add a iframe to your shop page pointing to your VSD slide show page. The Iframe will need to be place inside a div and then use some CSS styling to force it's position to the top of your page.

I have to be honest I barely understood much of what you said (I really am a complete novice with anything website related) however I am very eager to learn and will give everything you said a shot!
