If you don't have anything to sell, but want to make some extra money using the Coffeecup Shopping Cart software, you can get stuff to sell at the following link:

You sell the products, they do the shipping and handling. Drop shipping at it's finest.

You did notice that they have a $49.95 a month membership fee I hope.

I did notice a monthly membership fee. I'd have to think that with shipping costs, even a couple of sales per month would equal that, and if you had to ship 50 items in a single month...wow! Can't blame them for the fee, really. They package, ship to address and you don't have to?

The sad part is, I could not view any of their "wholesale prices" unless I sign up for the 7 day free trial. Would be nice to be able to compare products/prices to see what kind of margin there was for markup to handle the cost of the website, your time and the monthly fee. Do any of you do sales with a similar set-up? Has it been worth your time?

I was kind of hoping this would spur on others to put their own drop shipping resource recommendations here as well... :)

generally speaking, I think any fees you might pay to any dropshipper might not be an issue depending on how much you manage to sell, and how much they do for you.

Generally speaking if you don't have to pay for a membership, then you are going to have to pay a "per transaction" fee. I used to wholesale and I do know that you are not allowed to publish your wholesale prices (if you are a true wholesale dealer) to the general public. You have to verify the business owner, and they have to be "members".

I just looked at the site you offered and all I can say is, DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. All you have to do is google them and you will see that it is not worth your reputation to deal with someone you don't know. Drop shipping is a hard thing to make any money at and if you can find a way, invest a little in a product and bring it to you. you have more control over the quality, service and profit margin. Some products are not worth it.

If you are considering buying wholesale or drop shipping, just remember one thing, they don't need to advertise. You will not find them easily on the net and the people who use them don't want to advertise them because they want to keep their sources private if they can. I never had to advertise that I sell wholesale because the people will find you. Call around to places that sell a product you want to possibly sell and find out how you can buy their product wholesale. Be careful of the middleman, they are just another person who found a way to cut into your profit. That is 99% of what you see online, are the "middlemen".
