I get between 5 and 10 orders a day on average, it's been picking up as time goes by. I think people are interested in our prices instead of the site design. We have some of the best prices out there.
I google and yahoo search our top sellers every day and keep adjusting the prices to be better than the top search results. It seems to be working. :cool:

Furnace Guy just admitted that visitors are attracted to the site for the prices instead of the web design.

Any forward thinking company has to think of the customer... If the designer himself feels the site is poorly designed - there's room for aesthetic improvement. It's just being complacent shrugging off a sites look by saying "Why change it if it works" - There's always room for improvement...

I already stated that I don't like the design of my page. I can't do anything about it because my boss DOES like it.

That makes it kind of a moot point to discuss anymore, doesn't it?

I think he means that if you scroll down to the bottom of that page (the jewelry guy's, not the furnace one), the text runs off the bottom and obscures the buttons. Might just need the page size adjusted a bit?

I presume the idea of posting the website here was to show the shop and the shop looks good to me :)

I am sure if the design of the website itself was up to you it would be different but as you said this is what your boss wants and he is your boss. At the end of the day if it works i.e. brings your boss business then that is what matters. It is his website not yours.

Thanks Spinny i will now have another look, could not find any fault using internet explorer.

Now a techy friend has explained i need to check websites in other browsers, so i guess Sticker is using , and possibly yourself, a different browser to me

I looked at it side by side in IE and Firefox. For most of the page the text seems to line up, then somewhere down past the last image the spaces between some of the testimonials seems to get larger. Plus it almost looks as though the page size is actually shorter in the IE version. Weird.
