Hi

Currently I have a test shop at http://www.devonpetals.com/newshopundertest using the newly released version 3.5. cart. Unfortunately paypal standard does not appear to be working all I get

is an url - https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr giving the message "Sorry, an error occurred after you clicked the last link etc".

The selling options in paypal summary profile have been checked together with the paypal parameters in data.php all appear to be correct.

I am investigating further, however any thoughts would be welcomed.

Many thanks.

Hi

It appears your server does not meet the minimum requirements. If you look at http://www.devonpetals.com/newshopunder … ertest.php you can see the issues.

Hi Scott

Many thanks for your reply, yes agreed the server test shows up a problem with paypal connectivity.

however on the same server I have working shop using version 3.1 at http://www.devonpetals.com/shopoption, checking the server using www.devonpetals.com/shoption/ccdata/php/servertest.php indicates the server is okay, and paypal connectivity is okay.

I notice the 2 servertest.php files (the 3.1 & 3.5) are different sizes, are the test features different between the 2 versions?

A bit puzzling will look a little deeper.

Again many thanks

I get a 404 when I go to http://www.devonpetals.com/shoption/ccd … ertest.php

However, version 3.5 does have some different server requirements then 3.1 and there are different testing features.

Hi Scott

My apologies my spelling, the url should be
http://www.devonpetals.com/shopoption/c … ertest.php

Interestingly I placed version 3.5 servertest php file in the root directory of the website at www.devonpetals.com/servertest.php this responses okay, the difference being it does not have access to the paypal data in data.php and defaults to https://www.paypal.com to carry out the test.

Still puzzling

Many Thanks

I would suggest filling out a support ticket so we can get a bit more information and try to get to the bottom of this.

I have had the same problem when I use the "Tie a ribbon" theme. I noticed that standard Paypal option works on other templates. So I was forced to set-up the express paypal payment option and it works again.

Though I find it strange that when the cart send you to paypal (Express payment) the amount you're going to pay doesn't show on the paypal page.

Make sure that you have downloaded the latest version of the theme you are using from http://www.coffeecup.com/help/myorders Version 3.5 uses a new theme structure and old themes will not work with the latest version. If you look on our Website you can see the date of the last update for each theme.

I didn't purchase any new themes. I am using the themes that came with the software. I'm guessing that the CoffeeShoppingCart3.5R.exe version had the latest themes.

The Tie a Ribbon theme is not one that comes with the software. That was part of a free theme pack we offered when we announced the release of v3.5. You need to re-download the latest copy of that theme here at http://www.coffeecup.com/files/miscella … Themes.zip
