I just purchased the software and i am able to make modifications to make the store do a few things different.

I have paypal express set-up and it works on the transaction..my problem is the notification payment that comes from paypal needs more in the description.

can you tell me what file is it in the sites files that has the info that sends this info to paypal so it knows what the products are that were purchased?

I dont want to add the part number to to the tile of the product so I put in the short description.

I would like the paypal notification to have

Product Title
Product Short Description

I know this can be done with a file modification, just not sure which file it is...

I am sorry but there is no way to modify that information without possibly causing other issues. You are welcome to try but I cannot provide instructions on this as it would be completely unsupported.

Thanks but I figured a way to get the info in there to the cart without having to put it in the title. Using the optional fields I can add a part as the label option and only make 1 option available forcing to send the option

the shopping cart sends product title>option value1 > for the description of the product to paypal..I feel that the file can be altered to send the short description along with the product title, but this will work for my needs for now..
