Does Shopping Cart Creator allow shops to be in other languages than English, also does it allow other currencies than USD, and other payment methods apart from paypal, google checkout...?

living in australia i would be interested in the answer to using local australian dollars rather than US.

Also im not sure i know what the differences are between shopping cart creator or the newer shopping cart creator pro?. should one hold off buying till the pro version is released?

I can't answer the language or currency questions, but I can answer a bit about the differences between the Basic and Pro versions.

Basic has most of the basic things you would need for a simple shopping cart. Gives you the ability to put your products online, and work with a couple different payment processors. You are able to create categories for your products (no sub categories in basic version) and put images with set sizes in for your products. There's much more to it than this of course, but that's the gist of it.

With the Pro version they have introduced a myriad of new features that enhance shops quite a bit as well as giving it a more flexible setup for working with multiple shops that the basic version doesn't have.

Subcategories (only 1 per category at this time)
Sizable images
More payment options
Inventory control
SKU numbers
Catalog site setup (can setup a site for a catalog setup with no ordering, just for browsing products)
Built in search feature
Weight based shipping
Much more I can't think off at the moment lol

There are quite a few new features that you'll enjoy in the Pro version that will make your shop a much better and more functional place for your customers and yourself to setup. It's definitely going to be worth the cost.

I guess you'll have to ask the CC Powers that be if you can get the discount or not if you buy the current Basic version. I don't know if they will be extending that to everyone or not. If so it would be worth the cost of purchasing now. If not then I'd wait I guess and see what happens.

When working in Hebrew (R to L), will "Shopping Cart Creator Pro" be able to show the screens R to L and enable Hebrew descriptions etc.

Is there anyone that is already using it in Hebrew?

Shopping Cart Creator only supports the currencies that each merchant supports. We have a list here at http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ … u-support/ to show what is supported.

With the Pro version you can use PayPal, Google Checkout, Authorize.net, 2CO and World Pay
