I am working on one of my shops and some of the categories are overlapping as I scroll through them and several of the categories seem to have disappeared along with all their products.

This is in the actual program as I edit it.

I've tried shutting down and starting up again and no change.I've tried loading another shop and then reloading the other and still the same.

I daren't fiddle with any other shops lest they get corrupted too.

Any ideas what I can do? Anyone else had this issue?

I just tried looking at in Preview and everything is still there...I just can't access it to edit

Sounds like something did go corrupt you may want to redownload the program. You should not lose anything by redownloading.

Yes very strange, I would suggest a ticket for this Tassie, sounds pretty weird to me. Also did you try rebooting your computer? Even though Scott thinks I'm crazy, I still say this program has memory issues. After I run it for a while it acts very weird for me at times too, things move around, spaces open up, text disappears even though it's really there, little things like this happen quite often if I have it running for a while, and this is "after" I formatted so I don't think it's my computer doing it. If you've already tried rebooting the computer, definitely put in a ticket.

We made a lot of changes to version 3.8 Jo Ann so this could be related to some know issues with 3.7. However, I don't think what tassietiger is saying is the same thing "several of the categories seem to have disappeared along with all their products." It sounds to me like some of the files got corrupted or deleted. We would need to see all of the source files to make a better assesment.

But, she did mention that she can see them when she previews her page.

The preview generates the pages to HTML. When we have the source files, we can see what is going on with the .SCC file and determine if it is a software issue, or something else.

Hi, yes I've rebooted and still having the problem. Put a support ticket in last night and have sent a screenshot to support.

Scott what files do you need and where do I send them?

Its my biggest shop and I'd hate to lose all that information. I have a heap more items to add and can't do anything cause I can't access the categories.

And I can't access the several categories between Seasons and Weddings

Lamin will need all your shop and theme files so that we can open it here. This includes the SCC, SCT and all related files and folders.

I think I've just used one of the stock themes and added my logo for this one so would the files saved when I save the shop be what you need?
