At http://www.ezinet.com.au/shop/index.php I am setting up a new cart but the landing page had stuff I do not require. (You cannot miss it!)

How do I get rid of the 5 vertical panels that convey nothing about my site?

Thanks

Hi Neville
Where did you add originally add it at?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

It appears to be part of Cart Creator. Latest version downloaded a few days back. Nothing I have added. I cannot find where to remove.

In SCDP, Click on the "Category Detail Properties" then the background tab and see if that's where you can get rid of it. Which theme did you use?

Designer Stuff is the name of the theme. Just looked at the themes for sale and everyone of them has something filling the same space. So it looks like a part of the theme. But how do I modify the theme? Is it a CSS thing or is it an image? Can it be edited out without buying the theme editor?

Looks to me like it's just an image on the shop home page setup. Should be able to remove that using the Designer program or at the very least, edit the image to an image you want to use instead.

Ok loaded it up in Designer Pro and here's what you need to do:

Load up the theme, on the page that has that image which shows up in:

Spotlight Area Properties

in the dropdown list at the top right, click the X to remove the image completely (or locate your own image to put there.

If you don't want an image there at all just click the X to remove it. Now go to the Advanced tab of that same section and adjust the Spotlight Area Padding for the top to something under the 400+ that is in there originally. That will move the text up the page to fill up the space that the image was in.

Pretty cool stuff huh?!

Thanks Grandma (couldn't resist that one).
Did not want to buy another tool to edit the area. Is the file being edited easily accessable with other editors?

Thanks

Nope, it's specific to the Shopping Cart Designer. The only other way is to edit the code yourself, good luck.
