Help My shopping cart is not saving...

Thankfully I am just starting to populate my cart, but after adding 7 items I cannot get any other product details to save. What do I need to do?

Hi Jeri,

Can you provide a bit more information please? Do you mean when you save and re-open your shop the information is gone or when you preview or upload it is not there? Can you also tell me what version of Shopping Cart Creator you are using (go to Help > About)

Using the new version 3.5. build 2357

What happens is I add a product, Choose the title and short description. Then click to go to details. I use the html to give more information.. Then go back to the category view. I save cart after finishing every product. Then when I reopen and check the product detail, it is not there. The area is blank like I never wrote one. When I use Preview in browser there is no product detail.

When I fist noticed this, I deleted the product and then re-wrote it. Same thing.

Also noticed that if you delete a product, it does not delete the pictures saved with it.

That is very strange. There must be some other step or process that I am not quite following. I would suggest giving our office a call on Monday at 678-495-3480 and we will have one of our technicians take a look at your shop and see if we can figure out the cause.

to me the 'ok' and 'cancel' buttons on the html are backwards......so guess what I have been hitting

Scott,This is exactly what my 3.0 installation has done!
All saved items have disappeared after an attempt to preview.
(Previewed before without a problem)

Can I get my items back or is that 3 hours work down the drain?

I see you are still using version 3.0 We have made a load of changes and fixes with the software and I think the error you re showing me has been corrected. You can download the free update here at www.coffeecup.com/help/myorders

After upgrading, if you still have problems, let me know and we can check into this further for you.
