Film Noir style problem

Scott, I just switched to this style and have found 2 problems.

1. When I check the "Remove CoffeeCup link from footer" then save and publish the site, "CoffeeCup Software" is still in view under the VIEW YOUR CART button.

2. When you mouse over the "Categories" link, the sub-catagories drop down covers the CART SUMMARY section and will not "snap back" when you mouse away from the "Categories" link. You have to select HOME, SHOP HOME, VIEW CART to get rid of the drop down box left from the mouse over of CATEGORIES.

Hi Bob,

Just an fyi. I just tried your site for the categories issue. I used both Firefox and IE and the categories disappeared okay for me. In IE it seemed to take a beat or two longer, but still less than a second.

Lasercrow...thanks for the reply, It does not do that for me with IE....perhaps you are not understanding what I see or what I want.

when you mouse over the CATEGORIES you then get the submenu in the black box that includes ALL JEWELRY, BRACELETS, NECKLACES, EARRINGS, COMPLETE SETS, When you take your mouse away from the Categoies link, the black box with the above mentioned submenu remains in view thus covering the CART SUMMARY. Then the only way to get rid ot the black submenu box is to click on another link OR refresh the page.

Bob,

I tried viewing your site with both IE and Firefox.

My results were the same as Lasercrow's.

The black box submenu box does not remain when you move your mouse away.

It appears when you mouse over and desappears when you move the mouse away.

Everything appears to work fine.

very interesting....the black box stays in view on my IE laptop after I mouseover the CATEGORIES then move off of it. I will try and report from a different computer.

Bob, it would be good to know why your laptop is doing menu "hold". We may have users that will run into the same issue. If you get your menus to work on a different PC then maybe you can outline the differences.

Hi Bob!

I'm sorry that you've been experiencing issues with your template. I am not able to reproduce the issue that you're experiencing with the drop down menu, but I'm positive that you are using an out-dated version of the template, because the first issue reported ("CoffeeCup Software" still in view) has been fixed. Please download the latest version of this template and let me know if you're still experiencing any issues.

Thanks!

I'm using v 3.1 Build 0

Not sure how to get any newer version of this template other than through SC program. Please provide any links to the new version of that template..

Also confirmed that my site shop menu is funtioning correctly on my other computer. The laptop still results in the "menu hold" when the mouseover is removed from the CATEGORIES. Wierd
