Authorize.net #2 - Post ID 111851
I have it all signed up and setup. I am able to get confirmation from Authorize.net that the card has been run and for what amount... But the email includes none of the order details! i.e. What was ordered and how many
What needs to be done so I get a copy of the order? Help!

OK... I need to look a little more before posting
I have now used all 3 of the payment options for SCC.
IMO the ONLY people that should ever consider Authorize.net as a solution are people who sell: Tobacco or tobacco alternatives, Booze, Guns, or Porn.
Authorize.net's ONLY advantage is they can provide a gateway to anyone.
It is harder to process orders.
It is more likely to have a charge back because of how they process cards.
I am sure that some meatball will come up with an advantage that I have missed, but there is no way it could out way the rest of it's shortcomings!

I'd say immediate and automatic posting to your merchant account is a big meatball advantage.

CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
... As I said! LOL
There have been numerous posts made concerning the subject of Authorize.Net emails from the SC. They all say the same thing. You have to log into your Authorize.net account to get the purchase listing.
But really, if you are not doing high volume sales, PayPal or similar service is actually the cheaper route. For high volume sales, a gateway like Authorize.net will save you money in percaentages even with the merchant account on top.
And I'm not a meatball, more like an Italian sausage. Hot and spicy!

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
