Nancy i have same problem with my jewellery photos

all pictures on my site bar about three i did myself, and as you know craftsmen/women, work better with blow torch and files etc. not pc or camera

if you have a scanner try this for size white piece of paper on scanner with neatly cut square hole in middle about 4 inches square

lay jewellery on the scanner and place a piece of coloured paper on top

no need to close lid on scanner

and then crop the result with scanner tool

if you look at the earrings on link i did these that way its not ideal but i do all mine like this and then replace with better pictures at a later date
