Hi, I'm doing up a shopping cart for a bookstore. They offer books in two formats...ebook and print. I'd like to be able to have a little drop down message that says Pick a Format - PDF or Print...

I've added options...but when I preview the cart it doesn't show up. It shows either the ebook or the print...not the book and the choices. There are different prices for the ebook vs the print...as well as shipping and handling costs etc and I'd like to organize it so that the reader doesn't have to go to three or four different pages to get the book they want. Quick, easy, is the key...any suggestions?

Right now SCC doesn't support selling downloadables, but the good news is that the Pro version will at some point allow it. I don't think it will be in the initial release, but it's been said that it should be in a future update of it. It's also been said that the Pro version will address multiple option setups such as what you're asking for, or for more normal things like same item different sizes so different prices needed and so on.

Although you should be able to handle the price different part of it with the initial release of the Pro version of SCC, I don't think the downloadable part will be there so you'll need to wait on that in order to adjust your various shipping situations and such. I also think you may need to separate them in the cart even though they are the same product. What you can do is put links to the other product in the product detail descriptions for the book vs. pdf and such. I'm not sure if that will be able to be combined in the Pro version or not yet.
