I have the latest version of the Shopping Cart Creator Pro and would like to change the background of the Home, etc., pages. Is that possible with this software?

Those changes Robert would need to be made in Shopping Cart Designer Pro.

It seems to me that Shopping Cart Creator and Designer should be combined into one program. Sure would make life easier. The programs are too rigid, can't change backgrounds, colors, add logos, etc unless you have both programs. Quite frankly, the "templates" should be able to be changed at will.

We could definitely do that, but then we would have to charge $200+ for the program.

OR CC "could" have kept the SCD Unpubished and REQUIRED users to purchase templates through them. Any "Custom" changes would have cost $$$...

Personally, SCC and SCD being made available as is, is a good business model (especially considering the price)!

Similar question to the original one at the top of this chain. I created a shop using SCC (older version) and used a generic theme that came with the package, no changes. You can see the layout here http://beercoastermania.com/webshop/index.php

I just upgraded to the latest version of SCCPro and can not duplicate the layout (primarily the header text next to the logo.

The SCCPro themes that come with the generic package all have background images (except the Beta Pro) that i can't find a way to get rid of. I am just looking for a plain old white generic background for now, nothing fancy and at this point do not need to change from a white background.

Is there anyway to create a plain old white background page or do i have to purchase SCDPro to eliminate the background picture? Is there a theme without a background image? Why even bother including themes if you cant use them without buying SCD? I must be missing something..

Closing the loop on my question via a reply from Scott:
You would need Shopping Cart Designer Pro to make those modifications. All the themes have those in there by default. With Designer Pro you also have all the source WIF files as well allowing you to customize those images in Web Image Studio too.

With SCC Basic and Pro we only include 10 themes. Older versions had more themes, but swapped them out for better ones.

Also I found the theme i originally used and it works fine in SCCP. Another satisfied client!!

Aren't there blank themes in the programs when you buy them? Used to be, but I haven't loaded these programs up in a while so not sure if they are still there. If so, then why not go that route?

Not that i found. There is one close without an image but it has a blue background that would not work for me.
