The .csv file has a row that is trying to move a subcategory ("Main Boards") into the Parent Category field.
The .csv file has a row that is trying to move a subcategory ("Power Supplies") into the Parent Category field.
I have formatted the file as per instructions and sample csv file, does this make any sense to any one I have exactly the same format.

What I suggest is to export at least one product from your shop as csv then use that as the base to build one for your shop.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hello,
that is exactly what I did when my initial try failed by creating the file from scratch, I exported my shopping cart which only has a few items in it, removed all items from the file except the last one added to my shopping cart. deleted the item from the shopping cart, used the file created by by the shopping cart and tried to import it back into the shopping cart, same error as the one I created, see in my post the files in zip format, the before and after file, Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try clearing all the products out of your shop and importing the csv?

I just exported the csv from the shopping cart, removed all products from my store, I then tried importing the file that was created by your shopping cart back into the shopping cart, I get the same exact message. I installed the shopping cart on a different computer system and copied all the files to it. and I still get the same error.
