When if ever will this program be...

Last date was July 2011. Is anything being done to update this software? Coupon codes, user input boxes and some other things that have been requested over and over again.
I see that CoffeeCup is jumping in with both feet into responsive design, good for you. Not everything/everyone has the need to be responsive. I honestly could care less about a responsive site, cell phone and tablet users are less than 2% of my sites traffic.
Sorry if I come off a bit cross with this post, but it truly seems as if CoffeeCup does not care about these two programs anymore. My honest thought is that whomever on the CC team coded this is no longer working with/at CC, and that nobody there has a clue on how the software was created.

Responsive web design is our main focus right now, but the group who made Shopping Cart Creator are alive and kicking. They are actually the ones behind R Layout Maker, R Menu Builder and our soon to be R Web Designer. Shopping Cart unfortunately has just fallen far to the back burner so to speak but is still very much on our minds.

As much as I wish I could comment on exact dates on when updates or features may get included, I just cannot say with any certainty. Shopping Cart will also get the "responsive treatment" as well which will bring it a giant leap forward. I know this probably is not the answer you may want, but instead of ignoring the message, I can just say this so that you at least have acknowledgment from us. I can also say when it does go responsive, we will make it right with all registered users of Creator Pro.
Learn the essentials with these quick tips for Responsive Site Designer, Responsive Email Designer, Foundation Framer, and the new Bootstrap Builder. You'll be making awesome, code-free responsive websites and newsletters like a boss.

Glad to hear that the group who made these two programs are still with you. It is a fantastic e-commerce solution, that I for one am very happy using.

Don't get me wrong I have no problem with responsive web design. In fact I think that it is kind of cool. As for exact dates or features to get added/updated, I know that CoffeeCup will make it grand. I really do appreciate the response to my post. I'm not going anywhere, and I am willing to wait it out to see what magic that the CoffeeCup team will apply to SCCP and SCDP... Just far, far to much usefulness in these two programs to let them get left on the back burner! ;)

I would love to say I'm here to stay but unfortunately that is going to be up to my clients. I had one use Groupon earlier in the year. We signed her up for Google Checkout, I manually input 300 coupon codes, then 2 days later saw where Google was discontinuing. Thankfully all that ended just now so it lasted long enough for this. However, if she, or any other client, wants to do something like that again we cannot with SCCP. Hoping it'll get picked up off the back burner so I don't have to resort to throwing money and tons of hours down the drain to set them up on other type of shopping cart. I really love SCCP, the ease of use, how it can look so good, but it's out of my hands.

Funny, I came here looking for this answer.
I have been turning away clients because this program doesn't allow for pickup option or submit order form (having the shopping cart create a order form and email it to me, just need to collect some basic info [name, email, phone, adress] ). This would also help for people who like to mail a cheque.

I know I can do shopping cart with catalog and then direct to a form but that is a huge amount of work for me to setup and client to maintain....really hoping update comes soon....this software is a money maker for web designers.....and there clients, which draws even more business for us ;)

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
