Transaction log - Post ID 166582
I am using the transaction log in shopping cart pro and have gotten it to log "approved" sales using the silent url mode from authorize.net.
The only information that Is not being displayed is the customers name.
I get the list of sold products, the total, tax, and the payment status (approved), but not the customers name.
Is there any way to get the name to show up? Or, maybe I am missing something.
It would really be beneficial to have that so that I could reference customers and their orders using the search function.
In fact. this would be a great invoice to print and send with the package that is going to the customer as well.
And Yes. I can get it through my gateway, but there are way too many steps they make you go through, and this would make the cart a dream.

I am sorry, but there is no way to do that without making your server PCI Compliant, which as we all know, is no easy task to do.

Having had some first hand contact with 'some' of the nightmares that PCI Compliant can cause, I assure you, if you can AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! It is much less of a hassle to let someone else worry about it (like PayPal).
Living the dream, stocking the cream

Storing names doesn't require PCI compliance, only the credit card details such as number, exp date, and security code. Lot's of non-PCI compliant servers house databases with names and email info and those names are associated with credit cards as well.
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
