I'm making a very small shop, only 4 items. I have a button in the main navigation called products. This has a drop-down that opens Category 1, with Products in Category 1 shown below it.
The Cat. 1 shows the first product from the Products – so it's displayed twice, one right above the other.

Is there any way to simplify this? Like having everything show within the main Category 1 area with nothing below it? If not, is there someway to choose what gets shown as that main product/description so it won't be the same as what's right below it? – like a featured or sale item?

I was trying to find a way to have the 4 items just on the shop-home page (with no products page) but it seems there's no way to get rid of the categories stuff.

Any ideas how I can clean this up, or at least change what's displayed above the individual items?

It's been quite a while since I've played with SCC programs but I seem to recall that you can setup what you want to show on the product pages. In other words, whether or not to show a product in each category or not, or featured products etc. Look through the settings, I'm pretty sure you can turn that feature off in there somewhere, I just can't remember where lol.

I haven't found anything yet – either no items show anywhere, or they're displayed as above.
It would be great if clicking the Products button could go straight to one page with the items on it (no drop-down menu, no categories within categories).
I'm afraid this is going to be a confusing mish-mash for just 4 items, but the client insists on having a shopping cart

Under your :: shop pages

Shop home , bullet ,show only products, drop down , select last option (category name)

Categories page TICK dont show anything

Home page use shop home settings (configured above)

And feature all products with yellow star

I get 3 products on home page in preview, and nothing else
