I have SCC 3.9 and all of the themes (except the Beta) have pictures which cannot be changed without SCD. So what good are they, or am I missing something? I just need a simple shop with two items for now and can't justify spending the extra until I need it. Thanks for your input.

You're not missing anything. SCC creates your shopping cart but SCD is what you need to modify the look and feel of the cart. The two programs work together. You can certainly use SCC to create your cart with no problem, but modifying it's look is going to be tough. However, if you're fast...download the trial version (fully functional) of SCD and make the modifications to your shop and save them. I think you get 7 days trial.

Here's another option...Do you own CoffeeCups Web form Builder? You could use it to create a simple shop styled the way you want.

You can modify the images in the theme.

I agree with both Gunsmoke and Eric.
--- If you only have two items, Web Form Builder just might be the thing for you. It will checkout through Authorize.net or Paypal. However, it doesn't have inventory control or full shopping cart capability like SCC.
--- If you really want to use SCC, publish your shop and then download the images used by the theme. Change the images (or make new ones to replace them) and then upload them to replace the old ones.
