Cost based shipping
Following up on a forum post by someone who is looking for cost based shipping.
I would like to see a form, similar to the weight based shipping which allows me to write my own weight range across the top of the form and then the costs underneath according to the destinations in the left-hand column.

Probably been said before in one way or another, but it does seem to be a popular request.

Can we have SCC Pro generate an invoice? With invoice numbers? Both for the customer and for us to use to keep track of their purchases by customer name and order number.

SCC PRO
The freight cost based on a weight or a percentage of the sale is ok where the freight cost is the same no matter where i send my product but as my product can weigh up to 30 KG the cost varies enormously from one side of the country to the other.
I can load a HTML calculator for Australia and calculate the cost by carton size, weight and zip code and all a customer has to do is enter a zip ( post ) code to calculate their freight but i cannot ad the freight cost to checkout. Are you going to ad something to the SCC program. The following link has the postage calculator that i use on Ebay and works on SCC http://www.interparcel.com.au/tools/pos … ulator.php

Hi,

Just wondering if there is any news on the coupons side of things for the SCC Pro!

While I'm at it - it's absolutely wonderful that we can add code to the headers and footers, but, why is there a limit to the amount of characters allowed in the header and footer areas? I had to place an iFrame in the footer code in order to fit in some html! The iFrame then calls in the code from another html file. It's the only way I could do it, as some scripts use up a whole lot of characters, very quickly.

This can cause issues with some browsers. I had to remove hyperlinks within the iFrame, as, when clicked, it caused the page to load within the iFrame, itself, and it's too messy to have the links open in a new window, or tab. Just sorted that one out with target="_top"!!

Thanks,

Tom.

If possible, I would like to have rulers and guides in Shopping Cart Designer Pro and to be able to input the min height on a page.

Well, no min height of a page, but a shopping cart site... I guess the content should have a minimum px size....

Good day,

I have a few suggestions to improve SCCP.

- Adding a global/category/sub category change function

on my store I have a Template category and had to manually change the description and discount of each product Item after my sale.

- adding a print/email as a payment option

have a client that wanted a store, but wanted the client to email cart to them to ensure items were in stock and then contact customer for shipping and to complete sale. I know that there is a print cart, but no email.

I have enjoyed the ease of use of all Coffee Cup products so far. and have recommended them to any client that wants to manage their own updates.

Have you tried using the Grid at all? If you take a few seconds to look it over you'll see that you can open the grid and do mass updating in there too. Find the area that your sale products are in and highlight them all and do mass changes that way (copy and pastes and deletes for the most part, I haven't tried any other mass updates as of yet myself, but these work pretty well).

Other than that, I think your idea is a pretty good one too for those that aren't too brave and don't want to mess with the grid setup.
