I have Open Office on the computer as well, but did not try that. I have used it a few times, but am not 100% used to it yet. When I did use it, I couldn't get the formulas working right, but again, I think that is because of my newness to the program.

Well, so here is what happened. I got to work, fired up the software, exported and immediately imported. All worked. Then, exported, opened the csv and saved, re-imported, all worked. Then, changed all the SKUs (something I wanted to do anyway) and imported, and it all worked 100%.

My theory now is there is something with the excel I was using. On my work computer, I currently have Office 2007. At my house, I have the previous version. The work computer is XP and the home computer is XP installed via boot camp on my mac. The only thing I can think of is that it is doing something weird with the older version that it doesn't do with the new version. Guess it is time to update the home office to something newer. Of if we could get the software running in a mac (long shot wish, I know).

Also, just as a little test, I did the same exact thing on my netbook, running Windows 7 with Office 2007 as well.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
