Hi...maybe I have done a wrong configuration. For a product the stock (with for example stock level 1) is reduced even if a transaction has not been made and so the Sold Out icon is displayed...i.e. this occurs after the item has just been viewed and added to the cart but no transaction made. Any ideas please?

Check your settings in your the program. There is a setting that you can choose if the inventory is decremented from someone adding it to the cart or from a finished sale. Change that to when it's actually sold and that should fix that for you
