I realize the View Shopping Cart does not work in preview mode, but when I first started using SCCP it listed the items that you test purchased in the view shipping cart. (At least I thought it did). Now it shows nothing and says there is nothing in your shopping cart. What am I missing? If anything!!

What exactly are you trying to view Steven? The preview will show everything in your shop, it will just not be functional in the sense of trying to add something to the cart.

When I first installed the software and set up my Shopping cart, when I put a few items in my cart and then viewed the site in the preview mode, I swear the items were in the shopping cart with no total just the items listed. I was using this to see how the "options fields" looked. Which, by the way, only showed one of the option fields instead of two.

These items could not be removed from the shopping cart, they were always there. And now all of a sudden they are no longer there and I can't get them there.

Am I crazy?

What used to happen was your featured items were placed in the cart in preview mode. You couldn't add items previously, and you still can't.

Now I don't know if the featured items are still placed in the cart as I didn't check my cart page when previewing my store and it takes ages to preview my whole shop so it's something I can't check atm.

Oh, OK, now it makes since. I used to have featured items on the Shop Home page but I wanted that page to be my home page so I took off the featured items and changed the name of the page to "Home" instead of "Shop Home". That way I could have a "regular" home page with the usual look instead of the shop home being the first thing you see.

So, in other words, if you remove the featured items off your shop home page (no products visable), you will no longer get anything placed in your cart when you go to the preview page, right?

This brings up and interesting question. If the featured items are AUTOMATICALLY put into the cart in the preview mode, what happens when your site is running live on the internet. Are these featured items automatically placed into a customers cart? So that they have to physically remove them? Does not make since to me.

Good selling feature if they did But no they don't my cart has been live since a week after pro came out, it all works fine once on server

That's good to hear. To me if it was put automatically into their cart that is like getting a phone call from a telemarketer, and we all know how much we don't like those??
