Hi posting this, hoping it might help someone else....I've had a devil of a time publishing/updating a CoffeeCup Shopping Cart Creator Pro site to an add-on domain at GoDaddy. In Shopping Cart's server profile I had selected selected the "Hosting Provider" as "GoDaddy"....which it was. For 2 days, everytime I tried to publish, Shopping Cart's FTP kept creating additional "CarolinaSeating" files in (my) GoDaddy's /public_html/CarolinaSeating directory.

After troubleshooting with GoDaddy support, it was suggested that the FTP software (using CoffeeCup Shopping Cart server's settings) was creating additional directories.

Sure enough, going back to the Server Settings in Coffeecup Shopping Cart Creator Pro and choosing Hosting Provider >"Other" (rather than "GoDaddy", my site updates finally succeeded and updates published to the proper GoDaddy /public_html/ file.

Every server is different. I have different settings for several CC apps for the same domain. I have other apps that aren't made by CC they do the same thing. CC will provide suggestions in some of their apps but in the end you have to use what ever works. I'm glad you figured it out.;)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Thank you Eric R, that is good to keep in mind, especially even with different CC apps. It was frustrating that "GoDaddy" as "selected host" within CCSCCP was not uploading the files to the specified directory on my screen but instead creating new ones on the server.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
