Shop Backup: No Images Saved

I have saved my SCC Pro website to a "shop backup" folder so that I could open it in another PC. I also had done this with SCC, but have renamed the SCC folder to "Shop Backup SCC" so it wouldn't over-ride it.

When I opened up my SCC Pro site on another PC, the images were not there. There were no images in the folder where they usually reside either.

In the Shop Backup SCC folder, it is as normal, images etc.

Is there another step I need to do to save the whole shop with SCC Pro, including images so that I can easily open it on two PCs?

Thanks!

It sounds like you renamed the wrong folder. What you should do is save all your shop files into one folder and then zip that folder up to transfer it to another pc. Manually renaming anything can cause all sorts of issues.

I have my shop saved into a folder on my desktop called "shop" and inside of that is the .scc file and the website folder.

Don't forget you need to also grab a copy of the folder that is created and named for your shop that ends with _files. That's the one that contains all the images in it for your shop. If you renamed or made a copy under a different name for the other pc, then you'll need to make the name the same on this copy also. Don't rename the one that's there though, just make a copy of it first before renaming that copy. That folder and the .scc file are the 2 main things you need.

Thank you.

It seems it was saving it partly to where I had my old shop files, and partly into the newly named folder "Shop Backup".

I made a new folder on the Desktop instead of in Documents, and saved into there and the the images saved as well.

I will delete out the other folders now, and drag it back into Documents.

Thanks!
