I have been entering info now for 2 days. Then I need to test and hope I made no calculation mistakes.

Ok so now i clicked on +edit range, but it only lerts me add something frrom 2lbs and up.

Both the items on my carts (one is 2lbs the other is 3lbs has the same shipping fee) i need to add a new range for 4lbs to 6lbs, then 6lbs to 9lbs - how do i do that? it doesn't let me create a range that starts with a higher number then 2lbs.

this really should have been multiply just like the lbs does.

Mike, in the edit box you will see in the lower left hand corner a button titled "Add more". Click on that and you can add more ranges.

I am using the Parcel Post method of shipping with the USPS and that price scale goes from 1 pound up to 70 pounds. I may never have someone order that much weight, but my primary product weighs 11.2 pounds by itself. There is always that chance that someone will order 6 or 7 of these items at once, so I do not have any choice but to go that high.

Now this is only for the Parcel Post method, I still have to enter this info all over again for something like the Express method in case someone is in a hurry to get their stuff!! Now that is a pain in the butt Michael!! Wait till you get that far.

I still don't see where i can set my own range
all i get is this (screen shot) and when i click add more it gives me a pre set lbs, how do i add 4lbs to 6lbs??

Ranges work sequentially. After the first one is added that is 0.000lbs - 1.000lbs, the next one will automatically start at 1.000 - XX. You just cannot free form enter a range of 4-6lbs. You need to define each range separately and in order. This way you don't accidentally skip a weight range leaving products in limbo.

YOu do not have to enter the pounds in 1 pound increments at a time. On that last item you could put 4 pounds instead of 2. And then on the next line you would put 4 to 6 pounds and so on.

Thanks Steven yes i figured it out, but it's just insane that we have to manually add every possible figure!!
This is a massive let down, and it should have been made clear this will be the case, i don't think anyone, getting into this shopping cart, think they will need to manually add every possible multiply shipping figure.

I still don't understand the "multiplying" thing. If you have 3 items each weighing 4 lbs, you just need to have a weight range of 12lbs to cover the shipping. At the most you only probably need to configure 5 or 6 possible weight combinations. I think you just maybe over analyzing the entire process and making it harder then it needs to be.
