Cool. I'm a big fan of source projects. Free is good. The only thing is you have to keep them updated for security sake. It's amazing how many times one of my sites gets hit with an attempt to exploit a well known flaw in a previous version of PHPList to gain root access, and I don't even have it installed on the server. But those IP's get banned in the firewall just the same.

I take a bunch of photos of my kids soccer games then share them with the rest of the team. I was using Kodak photo gallery but liked the personnel touch I could add to Piwigo. Plus I have more control over content. I'm not selling the photos but did remember seeing the plugin for the cart. It's simple but it doesn't have to sell anything but photos. I understand the security thing. I just plugged an update for Piwigo yesterday.

Thanks Eric for the info. I went to you page but did not find any photos to check on. However the PIWIGO site seems to have what I want. I will have to do some testing. I would have answered sooner but I forgot to subscribe to my own post...duh!!!!

I have some on there but they only show up if you are signed in. This program allows you to set permissions for all users. I turned off the auto sign up feature. If you would like a sign in to check out what I have so far drop me an email progrower100 at G mail.
