SCCP stopped adding shipping to order...

Sometime during the day on June 10th, SCCP stopped adding shipping to the cart totals. It still forces the buyer to choose a destination and shipping method, but doesn't add the cost in. The costs are listed in my shipping settings (set by weight), and each product has a weight listed.

I tried to make a change and got an error message saying that SCCP needed to be updated, but in my account here (and in my About SCCP in the Help menu) it looks as though I have the correct version installed.

Hopefully, my error message is attached. Any tips?

It looks as though I have to update the Cart Designer program. I'll try that...maybe it was updated on June 10th.

Ok, apparently I do need help. I have:

Shopping Cart Creator Pro 3.9 4251 and
Shopping Cart Designer Pro 3.8 342

I tried downloading Designer Pro 3.9 414, but got the error that it is not compatible with the version of Shopping Cart (I'm assuming Creator Pro) on my system. See attached error.

Now I am unsure of what to do. When I try to edit shipping to see if that fixes the non-existing shipping charges on orders, I get the error that my theme won't work (see original post above).

Update the theme and try importing it again to your shop to see if that will clear the error.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hey there!

It sounds like is you have an older version of Shopping Cart Creator (Basic/Pro) or Shopping Cart Designer (Basic/Pro) installed on your system. You need to make sure that you first install the latest versions of Shopping Cart Creator (Basic/Pro) and then install the latest versions of Shopping Cart Designer (Basic/Pro) next.

Here's what you need to do:

1. Go to Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs or Windows Control Panel > Uninstall a Program to remove all copies of Shopping Cart Creator and Shopping Cart Designer, Shopping Cart Creator Pro and Shopping Cart Designer Pro.

2. Go to My Products to download the latest versions of Shopping Cart Creator (Basic/Pro) and Shopping Cart Designer (Basic/Pro) that you want to use.

This should fix you up!

This did help, but after the buyers select their shipping method, it doesn't add the shipping in unless they click "update cart" above the order information. Everyone in the last week has skipped that and proceeded to checkout, which bypasses shipping charges.

It seems like the cart used to automatically change the totals to include shipping once they customer chose the destination and the shipping method. Now, we aren't receiving shipping for ANY orders, because people aren't looking up above the order info and updating the cart.

Is there any way to fix that? It makes a mess trying to keep track of orders when we have to send separate invoices through PayPal for shipping charges.

It should work like that. Try re-saving your theme in Shopping Cart Designer and then publish again in Shopping Cart Creator.

Do you have shipping enabled for some products? Each one I choose, there is no shipping applied at all.
