Umm I think he just said there's no plans for that lol. You have all the console you need on the software.

The way I look at it, maybe I am wrong if they created an admin section so you could access the site and change products and price without the Shopping Cart software it would open the software up to piracy.
So if they were to do this they have to use the S-Drive.

Having used Cubecart for many years, I can tell you updating online is a nightmare.
Try a free trial of Cubecart, if you have a Cpanel hosting account, give it a spin, I bet you will go off the idea after a day of swearing at it.
Also Magento works same way, its horses for courses again , CC simplicity of use, or online carts with all the bells and whistles.
Started using CC VSD in January 2009, I don't do HTML code, Sales from CC site exceeding expectations taken me out of semi-retirement
