I know you can include a form on a page within the shopping cart. And I understand that it must have its own submit button and the data is handled separately... but might there be a way to require submitting the form before being able to have access to the checkout page or being able to check out ?

Hi Gary,

Not within the app itself. This would require a lot of custom coding.

I guess I'm getting into that PCI compliant area that has been discussed in the past.... since what I need is basically a custom customer info form embedded into shopping cart with .csv output including the cart purchases.
One of my clients offers a couple dozen or more ballet classes taught at different school locations by several teachers. I have a CC form where the parents can fill out all their contact and pertinent info, but then they must manually fill in the sum total of the cost of classes that they find on an adjacent PDF. Plus they must list the classes in a text field using abbreviated codes. There is no tax or shipping to complicate matters, but I don't believe that Form Builder has the ability to charge a different price for each different item selected via a radio button.... which is what I'd prefer over a list, because then the user can see what they've selected before the final submit.... which of course would need to tally the selections with their individual prices.

OK... I did my homework (RTFM) and I think I can accomplish what I want with just Form Builder after all. I see now that you can add a different price to each checkbox item, which is what I would want to use because I want to enable the multiple selection of different items. And I just tested it using that sandbox mod talked about under http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ … questions/
And it worked ! Now to add this to the original form and see what the .cvs ends up looking like.
And now I need to stop because now I'm posting about Form Builder in the Shopping Cart forum....
