Reports? - Post ID 186474
I been an inputting fool getting my shopping cart up and ready to launch.
I went looking for a place to review Reports to see what my Inventory would sell for via my asking price.
I did not see one.
I search the FAQ pdf file and nada in there.
Is there a way to create /print reports of my shopping cart?
If not, may I add this to your "Honey Do" List /winks
Thanks.

Hi. Not quite sure what it is you are looking to do? Are you looking to print out a list of all the sales that you have made?
If you are using PayPal or Google Checkout as your payment processor, they have detailed financial reports you can print off.

I think she's looking for a way to print a report of all the current products she has in her store with a tally of what the total sales "would" be if she sold them all. I don't think the program has this ability, but I could be wrong, hence why I didn't answer it lol.
It does have the ability to print out a spreadsheet style CSV formatted page which you "could" in a sense add some calculations for yourself if you have a spreadsheet program. If you don't, there are a handful of free ones available if you do a google search. Open Office comes to mind.

In theory all the information is already in there. The selling prices and the quantities of each product exist so creating a total value wouldn't require a great deal of programming.
Not sure of the commercial value of having such a feature though, as whilst it would be a wonderful scenario, selling a site's entire inventory isn't a feasible proposition.

Agreed, very doubtful many would need this, but it's doable if you want to take some time to set it up.
One thing to keep in mind should you venture into putting calculations in, is that the inventory amount will need to be considered so don't forget to add that to your calculations. Also keep in mind that the inventory amount is the total amount of a specific product which includes all Optional Field items as they are not separated in the program at all for inventory purposes.

Thanks all for the input.
Yes, I can export to Excel if need be.
Again, thanks!
