Hi

I am not sure if I have a problem with the software or browser here. On a products page (any it makes no difference) when a thumbnail is clicked it opens the full sized image in a separate browser window instead of the lightbox popup. If the browsers 'back' button is pressed and the image clicked on again it then opens in the lightbox window.

Sometimes it has to be closed and reopened 2 or 3 times before the image finally displays in the lightbox popup. I suspect a software problem and not a browser problem as I have tried it is 5 different browsers with the same effect. Any Ideas ????

Phil

PS here is a link to try it for yourself :)

Hiya Titus,

What browser (and version) are you trying this on? I'm on the most recent 13.0.1 of Firefox, most recent release of IE9 and most recent release of Google Chrome and I have no issues at all.

Try clearing your browser cache completely and see if that fixes it. Also check your browser settings as you may have scripts being blocked either in the preference settings or maybe an addon.

I do believe it's something on your end though, your shop all functions as it should with the color box windows for all 3 of those browsers for me.

Hi Jo Ann

I think you may be right re browser. I use Google Chrome 19.0.1084.46 m but also have 4 other browsers installed just for testing. I'll look at scripts as well.

Thanks

Phil,
I tried it with Chrome (same version as yours) and also get the same, seemingly random, response of full-page display or lightbox popup.
I have no idea why this is happening, - just wanted to confirm that this oddity is not limited to your own setup.

I tried it and couldn't replicate.
Connection speed maybe?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Interesting theory ;), although I can't quite figure out how or why it would have such an effect. I have never encountered this before, at least not that I'm aware of.
For correlation purposes, I should point out that I do have a very slow connection.

I have a speedy connection. I have tried the cache cleaning and scripts were allowed anyway. It hasn't made any difference at all really. It is such a random phenomenon maybe I'm just going to have to live with it.
