Product Not Fully Defined?

I'm trying to upload my cart to a test server and everything is showing up except for the individual products. I have the products under categories with titles, but we are publishing as a catalog and not a cart, but only my categories are showing up without the individual products.

I get an error that says the product isn't fully defined, but we have individual titles on every product.

Make sure each product has a title, short description and price. Also make sure to check that you have each product set to published (the green globe).

Everything has a title and description but we aren't posting pricing because we are going up as a catalog and not a shopping cart. Pricing should be optional in this mode. We do have every item set to be published as well.

There are only 2 items out of 1,900 that are showing up in their respected category, even without a price being set.

You do need to have a price. Without it I don't think it will publish.

Two of the items did and they don't have a price. If that is the case we are going to have a problem with the software because my client does not want to publish pricing because of his competitors. He just wants the products and descriptions to be published.

I sure hope that we don't have to ask for a refund for the software.

If some are appearing and some are not, I would then check all of the settings for each product and make sure the settings are properly enabled. If you still have problems, a support ticket maybe easier.

BTW, did the trial version work?

We never tried the trial for this. I guess I will have to do a support ticket because all of the items are created the same way and all of the items are set to publish but only two of the items ar publishing and the two that are publishing are in the first category and there are five total items listed in that category with only two publishing.

Take a look at out cart on the testing server here: http://rhettroweb.com/corley/shop/index.html

The two publishing items are in the Adding Machine Paper category.

Thanks

I see you opened a support ticket but you never provided us with your shop files. We will need the .scc file and the _website folder in one zip file. If it is too large to attach to the support ticket, you will need to upload it to your server and send us the download link to it.
