Have you moved your files around at all during this lapse between edits? Maybe cleaning things up without realizing you moved the image folders or something?

No I don't think so. I never mess around with the actual files. I always copy them in a usb just in case but thats abou tit. I tried opening the files I had in the usb but same thing. I am attaching a picture where the images are and one of the image folder open.

Maybe the file got corrupt? Very weird. I am thinking my only option is to copy all the images off my website and than re-upoad them but that will take hours. Not sure if there is any other option?

It seems the same thing happened to my website. What a headache I really hope I did not loose all my work

Its working now. I bought a usb today and copied the files to the usb earlier today. I just checked that usb and the files opened up normally. Maybe when I copied them they messed up on my computer somehow. Thank you!

Ahh that could be, glad you got it worked out, try formatting the original USB that the files weren't working on and copy them onto it again and see if it works then, maybe the drive just got corrupt itself too.
