Hey Nadine, For a GoDaddy server, this is what I did ...

Click that 'Server' button in SCCP and when the popup comes up, select FTP Server (not the S-Drive). Then click the 'Add' button to add your server information if it's not already there.

Nickname: can be anything ie: Nadine's Shop
Server: this is your .com (include the .com or whatever)
username: this is the username you sign into GoDaddy with
password: this is the password you sign into GoDaddy with

click the box for 'remember password'
click the box for 'passive mode'

Under 'Hosting Provider' check 'GoDaddy'
Remote Folder can be any sub-directory on your server. ie: /shop/


No option for coupons yet. It's an on-going discussion and we all hope CoffeeCup includes it...soon!

I was worried about the coupon thingy, I think I'll make extra pages for each bag product page.........so I could link those extra pages to the main bag page.

e.g. on product pages have a link that goes to each discounted page:

buy 3 get a pouch free
buy 4 get one free

how do I get the links for each product page? have to upload first right?

Are you using FTP or FTPS ? Are you sure you selected 'passive mode'? Are you really really sure you have your username/password typed in right?

If so, try unchecking the 'passive mode' though that shouldn't make a difference.
Also double check your port number is 21. Proxy should be set to none.

There have been several others with this problem, and I can't find a solution that fixed any of them. You may have to open a support ticket and I'm sure one of the cc gurus will help you out.

Um one other thing, you're not logged into your server in another window are you? Just checking...

One thing you can do on the buy X number and get one free setups, is create Optional Fields for them. Create your product and in the Optional Fields Create the combos you want to offer.

You can also just create separate products for each of the combos also which will then give you better inventory control on them too. Not the perfect solution, but definitely doable.

If you want to do separate pages or add links on other site pages to specific products, just put the products in, go to the website after you have it uploaded and go to those product pages. You can copy the link to those pages in your address bar then same as you would any other website page.

another question, I want to change the pic on the homepage of the shop but I can't find that??? help...

Click on "Pages" at the top of SCCP. Next click the Home page tab if you kept the name otherwise the tab with the house. Now you can add an image to the page using the built in tools or hard code one using css and html.

1. weird but I cannot find the original page I created, it already has an image that I want to delete
