I'm sure most of you know Google Checkout is shutting down in November, so what do we do now?! Their most recent letter mentioned three migration options. Braintree, Shopify, and Freshbooks. Is there any hope that CC will integrate at least one of these options please? Google has always been my answer to the coupon issue so I don't want to be stuck with Paypal alone. Alternatively, does anyone have 2checkout experience as a current solution? TIA

I may be wrong here, but I thought Google Checkout was changing to Google Wallet, not totally shutting down. Did I hear wrong?

Here's the scoop from Google:

On November 20th, 2013, Google will shut down its Checkout product. Here’s how this may affect you:

Merchants selling digital goods may transition to Google Wallet for digital goods
Merchants selling through Google-hosted marketplaces (e.g. Google Play) will be unaffected
Merchants selling physical goods will need to switch to third-party alternatives (see below)

By the way, it was mentioned that support for Google Checkout was going to be removed from SCC in August but it doesn't appear an update to SCC is available for download from CoffeeCup.

I wont miss it, for some reason out of hundreds of orders last year only about 10 people used Google

I guess they are people who would otherwise have used Paypooooo anyway

I am getting about 30% of my larger £200.00 + orders opting to pay by Direct Bank Transfer :) no fees

I tried 2chekout as a Google replacement. They flagged my first order as fraudulent and then demanded I fax them several personal documents. So they have been deleted from my cart!

I have customers that specifically refuse to use PayPal and some new users have heard too many bad things so I need another option.

How about collect credit card data so I can use my local Square terminal?
