Hi, i've installed both SCC pro and SCD pro on my c: drive. The them files are located in the 'owners documents/coffeecup software/shopping cart/themes' folder.
SCC pro will not open any of the theme files. I've been editing a theme in SCD pro for about 2 hours this morning and was devastated when it didn't open. I notice the SCD pro files have a .sct extension but SCC pro is asking for a .scc extension. I'm totally confused and stuck, i thought this software would be the answer to providing shops easily without complicated coding knowledge, i'm feeling i've waisted my money, please can anyone help.
Regards
Tony

When you installed the software, did you save the programs to the default location, or did you change the location at all?

They should be downloaded in your "my documents" folder under "Coffee Cup Software".

Lets start here first.

Hey, thanks for posting back
I'm using the software on a mac within vmware fusion running windows xp.
The software is installed to its default location - c:/program files/coffeecup software/shopping cart creator and /shopping cart designer.

The folder for my documents is called 'owner's documents' which i'm unable to change. It says 'my documents' in the window bar when in the folder. The coffeecup software folder is here.

That might be the problem - the MAC. Put in a support ticket and tell them what you told me. They will be able to help you from there. You can access the support ticket through your account link at the top of the page. Good luck.

I use both SCC and SCC pro

I just checked for you, all my PRO templates in my themes read as follows (2011 Mycharm 3 wide double border pro.sct)

Seems odd that your pro version is asking for basic SCC format

Are you sure you have installed pro and not one pro and one basic program (as unlikely as it may sound)

If you have any of the basic versions, you have to uninstall those first. Then reinstall the pro versions. Even if you tested the basic versions, take them off.

In which program though? Are you having trouble opening themes up in designer pro or cart pro?
